PROMOTION OF
INVESTMENT (PROMOTED ACTIVITIES AND PROMOTED PRODUCTS (AMENDMENT) (NO.2) ORDER
1999
IN exercise of the
powers conferred by section 4 of the Promotion of Investments Act 1986 [Act
327], the Minister makes the following order:
Citation and
commencement
1. (1) This
order may be cited as the Promotion of Investments (Promoted Activities and
Promoted Products) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1999.
(2) This Order shall be deemed to have come
into operation on 26 October 1996.
Amendment of
paragraph 2
2. The Promotion of
Investments (Promoted Activities and Promoted Products) Order 1995 [P. U.
(A) 31/95], which in this Order is referred to as the
"principal Order" is amended by inserting after subparagraph 2(3) the
following subparagraph:
"(4) The
activities and products listed in the Fourth Schedule are determined to be the
promoted activities or promoted products in an industrial linkage programme.
".
New Fourth Schedule
3. The principal
Order is amended by inserting after the Third Schedule the following Schedule:
