INCOME TAX (APPROVED FOOD PRODUCTION PROJECTS) ORDER 2002 [P.U. (A) 289]

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 1, 2 and 11 of Schedule 4C to the Income Tax Act 1967 [Act 53 ], the Minister makes the following order:

 

Citation and commencement

 

1.  (1)  This order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Food Production Projects) Order 2002.

 

(2)  This Order shall be deemed to have come into effect from the year of assessment 2001.

 

Approved food production projects

 

2.   The projects listed in the Schedule are the food production projects approved by the Minister for the purposes of Schedule 4C.

 

Revocation

 

3.   The Income Tax (Approved Food Production Projects) Order 2001 [P.U. (A) 80/2001] published in the Gazette on 29 March 2001 is revoked.

 

 

SCHEDULE

 

Projects

 

1.   Planting of —

(a)  kenaf;

(b)  vegetables;

(c)  fruits;

(d)  herbs;and

(e)  spices.

 

2.   Aquaculture.

 

3.   Rearing of —

(a)  cattle;

(b)  goats;and

(c)  sheep.

 

4.    Deep sea fishing
